Eurocamara had the support of EU funding from PRAIA project for an exhibit area promoting its 6 Costa Rican - European bilateral chambers of commerce: Britain, France, Germany, Holland, Italy and Spain.
PROCOMER provided hotel, food and local transport from/to the airport for one participant from each European company. With almost 20 years consistently growth, this event PROCOMER has made the BTM a trademark event for making business deals in Costa Rica. Cocktails and dinners invited by PROCOMER highlighted networking opportunities so that business people could have an extra chance to meet each other. BTM´s customized business agendas with Costa Rican companies and trade show exhibit were also complementary for the European companies invited by Eurocamara.
ELANBiz’s objective to promote European commercial diversity in Latin America also includes the strengthening of the local European representation structures such as bilateral chambers and Eurocamaras. Costa Rica was strengthened by adding a new chamber, Holland House, and by providing training and networking of the newly established Eurocamara of Costa Rica. The European Union Delegation in Costa Rica neatly leveraged this opportunity by combining financial assistance for Eurocamara’s first appearance in BTM.
BTM is a multi-sector event in which the exportable offer of Costa Rica such as food processed products, fresh produce, private brand, ready to eat, frozen, packaging, among many other industries are exhibited.
